The Chatham Rotary Foundation is pleased to announce that it has received a $201,350 grant from a local Trust to continue advancing the community projects launched over the past two years through the Reimagine Chatham initiative.
The grant supports three project areas that began in 2025 and are now ready to move into the next phase of implementation. Planned improvements include the initial build-out of a local walking path and trail system, continued support for local business development and deployment of the town’s newly developed brand, and installation of themed murals in prominent locations.
Special thanks go to Richard Camp, Reimagine Chatham Co-Chair, for his diligent work in drafting and advancing the grant request.
The Reimagine Chatham Steering Committee is now organizing working groups to help guide each of these initiatives. As in past phases of the initiative, this work will continue to rely on a collaborative approach involving civic organizations, local businesses, private schools, and the Town of Chatham. Fiscal oversight will be provided by the Chatham Rotary Foundation, with River District Consulting Group offering support as needed.
